1997 Land Rover Discovery

For 1997 the Discovery receives minor option changes. The Discovery is available in SD, SE, or SE7 trim. All versions receive burled walnut trim in the interior. SE and SE7 models receive heated seats and restyled alloy wheels.

1997 Land Rover Range Rover

Functionally unchanged for 1997, Range Rover is available in either SE 4.0-liter trim or HSE 4.6-liter trim. For 1997, new colors are offered on the exterior. The HSE also has updated upholstery on the interior.

1997 Land Rover Defender 90 2d soft top

1997 Defenders are equipped with the 4.0-liter 182hp V-8 engine from the Discovery. Along with the newly available engine is a ZF 4-speed automatic transmission. The center console of the Defender has been redesigned to accommodate the new transmission option.
